The inevitable Earth Pole Shift 2012 – What to expect? Is this the end?
Scientist can only theorize the consequence of an earth pole shift as the last time this happened, Earth was still not inhabited by humans. An Earth Pole shift also called the ‘geomagnetic reversal’ is when the south and north magnetic poles have their positions reversed abruptly.
The pole shift theory is based on certain findings: the earth reverses its poles regularly at exact intervals of time. The last pole shift happened 780,000 years ago which only indicates that we are long overdue and this can happen anytime soon. This pole reversal is due to the sun’s magnetic fields harmonic cycle. One may be able to calculate the exact time of pole shift based on the magnetic field or sunspot cycle theory. This is how ancient civilizations, such as Maya and ancient Egyptians made predictions regarding the end of the world.
Scientifically, it has long been proven that when a beam of lightning strikes a magnet, the poles in the magnet rapidly reverse. The same is true for the Earth which acts like a big magnet. The sun undergoes changes every 11,500 to 12,000 years which results in outbursts of huge amounts of energy causing the earth to shift poles. The result is nothing less than a major catastrophe.
The earth’s magnetic field has a huge influence on all electronic equipment. A phenomenon like the Earth pole shift would put the entire world into chaos. This could affect ships and flights as they cannot navigate without GPS systems and GPS equipment will fail as they will not be able to get the right magnetic field. Satellites will be affected. Almost all electronic equipment, such as televisions, mobile phones, internet will stop working. It is also suspected that this could cause nuclear bombs to explode on their own.
Besides electronic equipment, there could be extensive activity of volcano, massive earthquakes around the globe, and substantial continental plates movements disrupting and uprooting lives. This could result in the loss of millions and millions of lives and in the ultimate destruction and desolation of life on Earth. So say the doomsayers and prophets of woe.
The pole shift may also have an impact on birds, animals and fishes and they will not be able to judge in which direction they must go and will get lost. This could mean the end of life as we know it, on our beautiful planet. Most of the religions have foretold about the end of world in a similar way. The Mayan calendar also makes such predictions; according to it, the end of the world will be around 2012 – to be more precise 21st (although some sources say 23rd) December 2012. This calendar has never been proven to be inaccurate till now.
Life is set to transform into something spectacular and heavenly – so say the mystics and prophets of hope. For them, 2012 marks the beginning of a new more positive period in human history. As we enter a zone of high energetic frequency, all life on earth and indeed this quadrant of our universe is believed to transform to a higher order. Inherent intuitive gifts, such as psychic abilities will become operative along with a renewed recognition that there is far more to Life than just the daily grind.

Solar flares, polar shift & more do fall into the scope of real science.
The current cycle of solar flare from the sun are off their 11 year cycle this time, science doesn’t know why.
We are in fact experiencing our own polar shift as the north pole continues to shift southward. This effect the magnetic field of the earth breaking it up to some degree. This magnetic field is part of what gives us protection from such things as solar flares.
The solar flares, if a large one hits earth directly it will be like a big EMP blast knocking out electronic equipment, notably communication. A strong enough one and it can burn the surface a bit too. And we do have weakened atmosphere issues we created.
These events of course produce radiated energy summed, but to what sum effect it will have on us is not yet known.
And if the sum total effect is that it pushes us to our next transition in evolution, such a transition would not be the first time. Julian Jaynes identified the transition from the bicameral mind to the unicameral mind where consciousness came about as well as our ability to develop higher levels of abstraction and deception. We also had a transition in language of mathematics when we moved from the roman numeral system to the zero inclusive decimal system and furthermore other numbering systems such as binary. Major advances became possible.
The next transition of course requires a need to do so. And we may very well have real physical things happening to cause such. But to what state of our evolution?
A new level of awareness and communication on a regular basis. The opening up of our subconscious into our consciousness. Telepathy and to some extent Psychokinesis.
And we would be like children needing guidance, and we would get it from those who already exist in such a awareness state. We are going to find out we are not alone and on a wide public scale, undeniable. But they won’t be responsible for the events that cause our consciousness to expand as that will be due natural events.
The closer this turning point gets the more who will start experiencing their thoughts converting to reality.
